About the event

The Speed Art Museum’s permanent collection showcases ancient, medieval, and modern art, while its current special exhibitions include a retrospective on Winslow Homer as well as “Infinity Mirrored Room: LET’S SURVIVE FOREVER” by contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Join us for a private docent tour of highlights of the Speed’s collection on Friday, Nov. 15 from 4-5 p.m. The tour will be free for members, with a $10 cost to nonmembers.

As a bonus, those who take the tour are invited to stay for the museum's monthly “After Hours at the Speed” event, which begins at 5 p.m. “After Hours” events combine live music, art, gallery talks, and activities, and they feature a cash bar and food from Marigold Catering. The theme for Nov. 15 is “Jazz & Soul Night.” There will be no additional charge for “After Hours.” (Admission is usually $25, but that fee will be waived for us.)
